NGV refuses $400K gift The National Gallery of Victoria has rejected a gift of $400,000 from the estate of Len and Mona Fox. The Fox′s wanted the bequest to go towards establishing an award for an Australian artist known as the Len Fox prize. The gallery initially accepted the gift but since changed its mind sighting ′′it was not in the business of promoting and awarding prizes′′. The estate′s trustees had to ask for a court ruling to modify the will after the gallery′s decision.
