Nadine and Almos’ Stunning Summer Wedding at Tamborine’s Bearded Dragon Hotel

Nadine and Almos managed to do what many couples only dream of: they curated their perfect summer wedding in just over six months. With family and friends traveling from all over Europe, they chose the Bearded Dragon Hotel in Queensland as the idyllic venue for their outdoor celebration. With only 22 guests, the focus was on delicious food (and lots of it), beautiful styling and plenty of drinks! Here’s a closer look at their beautiful day and the meticulous planning that made it unforgettable.

The Venue: Embracing the Outdoors

Choosing to host a completely outdoor summer wedding in Queensland was a bold and brilliant move by Nadine and Almos.  Bearded Dragon Hotel provided the perfect setting, ensuring comfort despite the summer heat. The venue was equipped with fans, misters, and a reverse cycle air-conditioned ballroom, offering plenty of places for guests to retreat and cool off. With water misters outside and an air-conditioned restaurant area, everyone had the freedom to enjoy the stunning surroundings while staying refreshed.

The Ceremony: A Picture-Perfect Setting

Nadine and Almos chose the iconic Tamborine Mountain Views Ceremony Location to exchange their vows. Under a beautifully adorned arbour framed by the majestic Tamborine Mountain, the couple said “I do” in front of their loved ones. The weather was perfect, and the serene natural backdrop added an extra layer of magic to the ceremony.

Unique Touches: Fairy Lights and Donkeys

The personal touches that Nadine and Almos included made their wedding day truly unique. Nadine, with the help of family and friends, installed a stunning fairy light curtain that added a whimsical ambiance to the evening.

One of the most memorable moments was the unique donkey photo opportunity that followed the ceremony. Guests were delighted to meet and take photos with Clancy, Matilda, and Mabel, the venue’s friendly donkeys. This charming addition was a hit and provided many photo-worthy moments.

The reception was a seamless blend of sophistication and comfort, allowing guests to relax and enjoy the festivities.
